Old sheepfold with lake in a corner of paradise

Comfortable rustic house built on the remains of an old cottage for shepherd at the bottom of a trail within driving distance. Great space with a shallow river that runs through on a walkway leading  to the eco lake  where swimming is required. A  generous vegetable garden at the foot of the house,  a field or park cars and camping car. Very nice walks  all around the house either in the hollows of the valleys, through the woods or on the mountains. The space A very romantic setting where you can take full advantage of it's rural setting. Quiet and calm under the stars - occasional snuffling of wild boars and the owls calling each other. Peaceful and unpolluted throughout your days of agreeable heat. Just an hours walk away to local producers market in Laroque de Fa on a friday, and a very good epicerie and charcuterie/boucherie make it entirely possible for you to stay around the house and really relax for a long time. Walking to local Cathar Chateau de Termes is well worth it. Having said that - if you do want to drive there is so much to do and see around here - popular medieval village of Lagrasse and a visit to the mediterranean sea are must dos. Unesco site of Carcassonne. Guest access The house: On the ground floor in the main block of the house  are the kitchen, the pantry, shower and  toilet bathroom and a large living room with a mezzanine with double bed. A double bedroom. Upstairs a  large bedroom, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed,  one large  bathroom  with shower,  bathtub and toilet. Large terrace with beautiful mountain views, and field views. Le Potager Feel free to enjoy the vegetable garden in front of the house. He  needs daily attention, so you go regularly notice but I will be very discreet. Other things to note Water is very precious - please limit usage. This house is fed by a spring that comes from the magnificent hill in front of you. It is filtered and drinkable. Compostible toilet use is preferred if possible, to conserve water. Please use only eco/bio products in showers and kitchen to protect nature and the individual sceptic tank Be aware of any fire risks. There is no mobile reception here - but there is wifi albeit less than one mbit! There is a kitchen garden in front of the house that I will need to water and tend to, re-plant etc every day. You ae welcome to eat fresh produce. I will be staying in the wooden house at one end of the lake and so will be on hand for you all if need be. I have a very french friendly border collie cross who will be there too.
