Self-contained cottage between Bath and Bristol

The Cottage at Southwood House, is a one bedroomed self-contained former stable block, situated 4 miles north of Bath. The Cottage is in a perfect location to explore the beautiful, historic city of Bath and the nearby Golden Valley Nature Reserve. The city centre of Bristol is 9 miles away. The space The self contained accommodation comprises a well-equipped kitchen with fridge / freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, oven and washing machine and a sitting room area with dining table and chairs, wifi and an internet enabled tv. The bathroom contains a bath, separate shower, toilet and bidet. There is a separate bedroom with kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton bedlinen and plenty of thick, fluffy towels! There is a small, unsecured garden area in front of The Cottage with an outdoor table and two chairs. Please note if you are bringing young children that there is an old stone well very close to the front door to The Cottage. Guest access Free off street parking next to The Cottage - this is a shared driveway/parking area with Southwood House. The centre of the Wick is a 10 minute walk away along pavements and has a local pub and a convenience store. There is a public bus to Bath which can be caught from Wick and goes right past the door! Please note that the public bus service only runs 5 times per day and due to our location on the edge of the village, a car is recommended. Other things to note We have two children ourselves, so if guests wish to stay with young children or a baby, we have plenty of baby equipment (travel cots, monitors etc), feeding equipment (high chairs etc) and plenty of childrens' toys and games if required.
