Bodi's Loft 101 - Colombo

In the heart of Colombo 5 amidst restaurants and cafes, it is the ideal home away from home. An airconditioned bedroom with a King Size bed and has a detached shared bathroom. There is also a spacious living area, two balconies, pantry all in the Loft (First Floor). Ample garden area to relax under the trees. It is centrally located to supermarkets, malls, gift shops, hospitals, hotels and many other places. We hope to see you at Bodi's Loft 101 ! The space Location The property is conveniently located in the heart of Colombo 5 down a by-lane abutting the main road in a residential area with easy access to restaurants and cafes around the corner. Its strategic location ensures that guests can easily reach many local points of interest. The city's numerous attractions such as Barefoot, Paradise Road, Museum, Independence Square, Old Parliament, Galle Face Green, Vihara Mahadevi Park, Gangarama Temple, Old Dutch Hospital, the Fort Railway Station, Odel, Colombo City Centre etc. It’s only a 10- 15 minute ride to almost any location in town. It’s a superb base to discover the exciting city of Colombo including night life. About the property Bodi’s Loft 101 is a bedroom in an upstairs unit of the main house that we live in with a separate entrance for the guests. The airconditioned bedroom with a fan has a Queen sized bed and the bedroom is simple yet elegantly decorated with a minimalistic touch. There is a detached shared bathroom with hot and cold shower. The bedroom can accommodate two adults (and a child less than 6 years of age free of charge on the parent’s bed). Wi- Fi is through fibre optic connection and is available for use free of charge. The internet connectivity is excellent to the room and to the outer balcony as well. The living room comes with a mini library for those who enjoy reading. There are indoor games kept for guests as well. The guests are given keys for the gate and room, so that they can get about freely at any time. The main door to the Loft/Unit can be opened with a key fob. Air-conditioning The room is equipped with air-conditioning. Meals Breakfast is not included. But when possible we would like to surprise you with it - on the house ! House Keeping Linen and towels are provided and changed every 4 days for long term visitors. Airport pick up Airport pickup can be arranged payable in Sri Lankan rupees to the taxi service directly . please send passenger names and flight information. It will be approximately USD 25/- inclusive of paging (name board display). Check in and check out Check in time is between 3 pm and 10 pm. We may be able to accommodate check in after 10 pm, subject to prior notice and confirmation by us. Check out time is 12 noon. We can keep your luggage for you to collect later. Guest rooms available We can also offer following subject to availability:- 1)2 additional bedrooms (1 bedroom has a shared detached bathroom and the other bedroom has a dedicated detached bathroom), 2)Friends option (combine with bedroom 102 with a shared bathroom) 3)Family option (Two bedrooms which are interconnected with a dedicated bathroom and a shared bathroom, both are detached) 4) Bodi's Loft can be booked as one whole unit with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. These rooms/options are listed under Airbnb as the “Bodi’s Loft 102”, “Bodi’s Loft 103”, “Bodi’s Loft Friends”, “Bodi’s Loft Family” and "Bodi's Loft". Guest access The living room, reception/inner balcony, outer balcony, garden area are common spaces for the guests to use, enjoy and relax. You also have access to a separate pantry area, where there is a fridge, microwave, hot and cold purified water dispenser, crockery and cutlery, for your convenience. In your room tea, coffee etc., will be provided and you can make your beverages in the pantry. During your stay I am available most of the time on guests’ arrival. If not I will always be available on the phone. There is an intercom in the living room to downstairs if you need to contact as well. You can even send me a message through the Airbnb message thread and I will attend to your needs. Other things to note This is a safe space for women travelling alone. No Outsiders to be entertained in the Loft/bedroom. Please treat the bedroom and the Loft as if it were your own. Please don't put your dirty feet/footwear on the bed, as the white linen may get soiled. Ensure the Air-conditioning is turned off prior to leaving the rooms, as keeping the electricity bills down is what allows us to offer this apartment at the lower rates. Smoking is allowed on the outer balcony and garden only. Also, when completing the booking, please ensure to mention the correct number of guests. - Please respect the neighbours, and do not make significant noise or play loud music after 10pm. - No parties
