The village has lovely walks, countryside views and one restaurant, the Medieval, in the centre of the village. Do make a reservation if you are planning on eating out as they get rather busy during summer. Chateau Chailly, a 12 minute drive, has a beautiful golf course. Nearby are some interesting towns like Saulieu, Semur-en-Auxois, Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, Chateau de Commarin- and ChateauNeuf-en-Auxois. Further afield the Morvan national park which is wonderful for walkers and the wine region of Beaune and Nuit St Georges. Mont St Jean has an active historical society and some interesting sympathetically restored buildings. You can join a guided walks during summer months.
