The space Custom built charming 200 sq ft cabin against forested hillside with full bed, wood stove, desk, and two comfortable chairs by fire. Private bathroom with shower located separately from cabin, about 25 yards away. Hermitage (stand alone 64 square foot garden dwelling) contains a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and hotplate for guest use. It also contains a single bed available for an additional charge of $50 per night. Quiet neighborhood set above Crockett Lake with views to Olympic Mountains. A few minutes from Fort Casey State Park and Admiralty Head Lighthouse, the historic town of Coupeville, hiking Ebey's Landing, and exploring beautiful Whidbey Island. Perfect central location. Five minutes away you can catch a ferry to Port Townsend, delightful Victorian town. Ferry to Seattle is 30 minutes south. Drive off the island at Deception Pass, 30 minutes to the north. Whidbey Island offers free bus from one end of island to other end on weekdays. Guest access In addition to the cottage, your bathroom is located across from Hermitage (small building with blue door). Also, there is a microwave, mini fridge, and hotplate available for your use in the Hermitage. We also keep outdoor chair cushions there for your use. Enjoy the patio, picnic table, grill, and outdoor fire. Other things to note ** If coming from Port Townsend, ferry reservations are advised! ** Slip on shoes are useful for meandering between cabin and bathroom with ease.
