Our Quiet Creekside House offers a quiet, peaceful environment. We live here Full Time. Big Pine has 4 seasons. During the HOT summer days we stay cool using Ceiling fans & a SWAMP COOLER. The bed is comfy with 100% cotton high thread cotton sheets. CHECK IN 4 - 9:00 PM. NO LATE CHECK INS. Once checked in you may leave for the evening & return anytime you wish. No kitchen privileges. We have provided a small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, utensils, coffee cups. The space Our Creekside home has creature comforts to include a queen size bed with luxury sheets & a private bathroom accessed from hallway. If there are two of you checking in please let me know the first name of the person traveling with you. We have a quiet neighborhood, garden setting, sounds of a waterfall from the creek running through the backyard year round. Enjoy the country setting in our yard. Our well water is delicious. We provide some for you in the bedroom. Please use coasters at all times. You are welcome to bring your own snacks & drinks - we have a compact refrigerator in the bedroom for your convenience. We also have a instant hot water tea kettle in your room. FYI- I pay County Transient Occupancy Taxes which I have not added to your bill unlike local hotels and motels. Big Pine has a local market - Carroll's Market, Restaurant - Country Kitchen, Two Brothers from Italy Copper Top Barbecue - however the hours of operation vary from day to day Three gas stations in Big Pine - Shell, Mobile & Chevron Guest access PLEASE PARK ON STREET in front of house. Do Not Park in Driveway. Parking on the street is FREE. During your stay We would enjoy getting acquainted with you as will our dog Lilly & our Kitty. Other things to note Iron & blow dryer available on request. We live in an area where only 1.7 % of property is privately owned. The open land surrounding our communities will never be developed. The land is owned by Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, Bureau of Land Management, and Forest Service. Most the land is available for public recreational use, one big playground. Fishing Never Closes in the Eastern Sierra in designated areas.
