The space Our cleaning & laundering practices have always been deeper than those of hotels. In addition to sheets & pillow cases, all linen - duvet/quilt cover, mattress protector & pillow protectors - are also laundered w/each guest. OdoBan, a 99.99 % germ killer disinfectant, is sprayed on the mattress, pillows, upholstered furniture & draperies, & around the carpeting. These practices has been in place since we opened our doors. Our accommodations are simple & best suited for busy travellers. Kindly read thoroughly before booking. FIRST FLOOR ROOM (300 sf) w/King bed, bay window, small desk, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, small hanging rack. NO MICROWAVE, NO KITCHEN ACCESS. SECOND FLOOR PRIVATE BATHROOM w/double sinks, tub/shower. Parking: Large circular driveway allows for off street parking. Located across street from forest preserve hiking/biking trails. As you gaze out the bay window, you may catch a glimpse of deer sprinting across the lawn. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy a walk, bike, or run on the forest preserve trails. Access to the trail is directly across the street from our house. NO LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION! CAR IS NECESSITY! READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING! If our home is NOT ideal 5 star location for your destination, please do NOT book! Smoke-free Shoe-free DON'T approach dog! He bites strangers! NO guest pets. NO unregistered guests allowed or visitors. ALLERGIES or PROBLEM with STAIRS? If so, we regret that Cozy Urban Country Home is NOT for you. Guest access FIRST FLOOR room w/king bed & SECOND FLOOR private bathroom, foyer, stairs to bathroom. Due to COVID-19, we are unavailable to allow access to any other room in our home, to maintain virus free and comply with CDC. To maintain social distancing, we have installed a curtain to block the main part of our living quarters. Please DO NOT enter! Unfortunately, we can no longer provide the level of hospitality we enjoy or engage in socialization, nor can we provide morning coffee. Hospitality will be reinstated when CDC lifts restrictions. We're all in this together! Other things to note FIRST FLOOR room w/king bed, SECOND FLOOR private bathroom. SHOE-FREE/SMOKE-FREE house. Dog (dachshund) does not have the run of the house. As a courtesy to our guests, he is restricted. DO NOT approach the dog. DO NOT enter the kitchen when the gate is up! Regretfully, we cannot accommodate guest's pets. Water source is a private well and safe to drink.
