Relax in a charming bungalow retreat, nestled in the trees on the hill above historic downtown Sonora. Yosemite, Pinecrest, Columbia State Park are all nearby, as is excellent dining, wine tasting & theater. You may swim, or relax, go hiking or mountain biking, all at your leisure. It's a short drive to downhill & cross country skiing, & snowshoeing. Many adventures may begin from your hilltop bungalow. CITY MANDATES LIMIT OCCUPANCY-TWO PERSONS/BEDROOM plus extra crib & mattress are available. The space The bungalow has been completely remodeled inside and out. There are new granite countertops throughout and quality stainless steel appliances. Care was taken to maintain the integrity of the original hardwood floors and mid-century charm. Guests may relax in the spacious living area or enjoy the large new deck with views of trees & downtown Sonora, gorgeous sunsets and the truly lovely scenery. There are no stairs, and once you arrive at your hilltop home the area is flat and easy to maneuver. There is a no smoking and no pet restriction inside and out. Sonora is located within easy access to all the best the Motherlode has to offer. Guests may enjoy fine dining in downtown and live theater options. Tuolumne county hosts events and festivals year-round, including farmer's markets and Second Saturday Art Walks. The pool house bungalow is located: 60 minutes from the Northern entrance to Yosemite via Groveland 40 minutes from Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort 30 minutes from historic Murphys and world-class wine tasting 20 minutes from Black Oak Casino, 4-star dining,gambling, and live music 10 minutes from Columbia Historic State Park 10 minutes from Indigeny Reserve for hard cider and brandy tastings Guest access Guests will have complete access to the house, including the use of the attached pool. No more than four REGISTERED guests are allowed at our residence. No additional guests, nor parties are permitted. Private covered parking is located on the premises and there is enough space for 2 vehicles. In the hall closet there are pool towels, picnic basket and ice chest (w/ice bricks in the freezer). A Keurig coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, and blender are also provided; along with cooking pots & pans, utensils & dishes, a BBQ and most of the condiments you would need are available. Other things to note There are many adventures to enjoy all within close proximity to the bungalow. We can assist you in your explorations, and there is a basket of information available. The home is located in the foothills, so there is potential for ice or snow during the winter. Snow is not common at Sonora's elevation, but is a possibility. Smoking is not permitted in or on the property. *There is a 10% transient tax fee required by Tuolumne County. Our Transient Use Permit, showing our residence is registered with the city of Sonora is permit #TI6-0016. Occupants are expected to abide by all specifications.
