Lake Santa Fe Cottage Get Away (1 Room Studio)

Cozy, quiet space to relax and enjoy beautiful Lake Santa Fe. Perfect for a 2-3 day getaway. Spacious 1 room, 1 bath lakeside studio cottage at the historic former Buddy's Landing site on Lake Santa Fe in Earleton. Private and gated with direct lake access. A peaceful, quiet space to unplug and get away from the daily chaos. Use of the private boat launch for a small additional fee ($20). (Currently 6 cottages for rent. Perfect for multiple families to hang together on the lake!). The space Located on west side of beautiful Lake Santa Fe about 30 minutes from UF, and convenient to Gator Nationals (approx 10 miles). Private gated lake access with private boat ramp for launching your boat or jet skis for a small additional fee of $20 per boat trailer. Beautiful lakeside backdrop for special events (family reunions, weddings, baby or bridal showers, holiday parties, and meetings) from banquet space available for rent at fantastic prices with comfortable accommodations for 40-60 guests. Guest access You will have a private cottage for your stay. Other cottages are on site but each has its own private porch for enjoying the afternoon breeze . Each cottage has a hammock and access to charcoal grills located conveniently around the property. During cooler weather there is a small lakeside burn pit for roasting marshmallows or eating s’mores. There is also a lake beach area for lounging in or near the water and ideal for kids to play. Other things to note There is a 5% Alachua County Tourism Tax due that Airbnb doesn’t collect. After your reservation is booked I will message you indicating the amount of tax due that must be paid through Venmo, Zelle, or cash on arrival. Please respect maximum number of overnight guests on your reservation. If others join your group there is a $15 per person fee per day. Various board games and cards are in the cottage as well as a TV, however, the joy of this beautiful property is to unplug and unwind ... outdoors! Bring your boat, water toys and skis, a fishing pole, your kayak, a good book, smores, and your beach towel. We are still undergoing renovations on the property, however, do our best to keep noise and distractions to a minimum. Please respect the other guests and neighbors, stick to the rules about additional guest fees, leave property at check out time or arrange late checkout. If you have special needs or questions about nearby activities or local restaurants please ask! We have paddle boards for rent and there are horse trail rides a couple minutes away. If you are in town for Gator games we can even arrange a driver to take you and pick you up! PLEASE NOTE OUR PET POLICY: Due to insurance regulations, we have strict rules related to animals on the premises and some breeds, regardless of size are not permitted. YOU MUST REQUEST PRIOR APPROVAL. If authorized, there is a $20 fee per day (one pet maximum under 25 pounds). A $100 refundable security deposit is required along with a signed pet Addendum and Waiver. Refusal to adhere to this policy will result in immediate eviction from The Boathouse property and forfeiture of all monies received. ANY damages caused by a pet or additional cleaning requirements will be charged to tenant. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE COTTAGES OR ON THE PORCH!
