LE GÎTE DE CLEMENTINE at the foot of the vines

"LE GÎTE DE CLEMENTINE" is a warm and quiet apartment, on the first floor of an old Alsatian house in the center of a typical winegrowing village. Ideal for a couple alone or with children, convenient starting point for visiting our beautiful region. The space “LE GÎTE DE CLEMENTINE” is a first floor apartment in an Alsatian half-timbered house (with a long balcony) separate from the main house and overlooking a very quiet inner courtyard. Access is via a narrow staircase (see photo in preview but a ramp has been added since the photo.) The house called "Maison HARTMANN" dates from 1683 for the most recent part and about 1530 for the outbuilding part. It is located in the city center of BARR, 100 meters from the vineyard on one side and 100 meters from the town hall and the tourist office on the other. The apartment includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It is equipped with a comfortable 160 cm wide double sofa bed in the living room and two single beds in the bedroom. => Possibility of sleeping 4 people. We can also set up a crib or extra mattress on request. The living room is equipped with a TV with Satellite Channel + sofa bed, armchair, table, chairs, storage unit, library. The kitchen is completely redone (on the theme of good Alsatian beer!) and equipped with dishes, electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, table and chairs, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine... The bathroom has a toilet, sink and bath/shower. It is equipped with towels, hairdryer, basic products and washing machine. You will also find in the cottage: radio/CD player, alarm clock, iron, vacuum cleaner, board games, books, etc.... Free access to the courtyard and garden (11 ares in total): garden furniture, deckchairs, petanque court, barbecue, swing... It has access through a porch but no parking space. Easy access parking (some in the blue zone, others free and unlimited) is located close to Rue Neuve (between 50 and 200 meters). All the shops in the village are within walking distance. BARR, a winegrowing village on the Alsace Wine Route, is a great base for touring the area by car or train (nearby station): Strasbourg (25 min), Colmar (35 min), Riquewihr (30 min), Obernai (10 min), Mont Saint Odile (10 min)... Hiking enthusiasts will also find multiple marked trails on the Vosges mountain range from BARR. (an IGN map is at your disposal)
