At least once, wake up early and watch the sunrise. It's amazing! The house has big windows facing the front, back, and side allowing you to enjoy the outdoors while inside sipping your coffee. Our summer/fall guests have been delighted by the abundance of deer sighting in our backyard viewed from the dining room. All three bedrooms and sunroom have views to the outdoors. The outdoor feel is extended to the master bathroom where the shower and a jetted tub are set in beautiful stonework. The floor plan is ideal for a gathering of family and friends with a spacious living room and dining room, an open kitchen and expansive front and back decks. With over 2400 sq. ft, there's plenty of space for adults and children to sprawl in comfort. No pets please. For the comfort of our guests, the house is furnished with high quality beds, sofas, chaise, futon, TVs, high thread count linens, and cotton towels. Bedding format as follows: Master Suite: King Bed Guest Bedroom 1: Queen Bed Guest Bedroom 2: Twin over full size bunk bed Sunroom: Futon which converts to a full size bed As our guest, you have access to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center amenities including the swimming pools, hot tubs, gym, fitness classes, tennis courts, beach at Donner Lake, play structures, and more for a minimal fee. To entertain kids of all ages, the house comes with an XBOX 360 Kinect and games, HDTV upstairs and downstairs, WiFi and more. For the younger kids, there are toys, books, videos, a high chair, pack and play, and child carrier. There’s even a secret Harry Potter room under the stairs. For summer fun, you'll find golf courses, tennis courts, a full equestrian center, swimming pools, a recreation center with a fully equipped work-out facility, recreation events, day camps, spectacular biking and hiking,and access to the Donner Lake Private Beach and Marina with all its water activities for endless family fun, plus year around heated outdoor pools, spas and sauna, and much more. In addition, we are mere minutes from the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort, Cross Country Center and Sled and Tubing Hill. For families with young children, Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort is great for learning, and children under 6 ski FREE! You can choose to do lots of activities or you can relax on the chaise and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Tahoe Donner from the living room. On a final note, Sunrise Vista is a labor of love. We trust that our guests will keep this in mind and will treat it well. No pets allowed, and this is not a home for large parties or groups. Beautiful, peaceful neighborhood with nice views Closing Checklist We aim to provide our guests with a beautiful, relaxing, and clean home. We hope that you will take great care of our home. The home will be inspected and cleaned after your departure. The cleaning fee provides approximately five hours of normal cleaning, including washing linens and towels, making beds, polishing, and vacuuming. You are responsible for all other cleaning and required to leave our home in the same general condition that it was received. Please adhere to the following checklist. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Please complete all items below: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- o Strip linens from all used beds. Place all used towels and linens in the laundry room. o Start a load of towels in washer (and dryer, if possible). o Run the dishwasher and wash any additional dirty dishes. o Clean and cover BBQ. Turn gas to off position. o Remove all personal belongings (check under beds). o Return all furniture, blankets, etc. to original location. o Remove your perishable food and beverages from the house. o Place all trash in the kitchen trash bag. Place smaller bathroom garbage bags into the kitchen trash bag. Tie a loose knot and leave the large garbage bags in the kitchen. o Turn the central heater thermostat upstairs to 55F. o If you used the gas stove in the living room, turn it off. o Unplug all portable heaters and return to the closet. o Return guest passes to original location. o Return keys to original locations, including lockbox(s). o Close and lock all windows and doors and shut blinds. o Turn off all lights and appliances (indoor lights, outdoor lights, garage lights, ceiling fans, and DVD/XBOX/TV). o Close garage doors.
