Reliable Wi-Fi extends throughout the property, making it easy to stay connected whether you are relaxing by the pool or working from your veranda. During your stay Whether you prefer a quiet, independent stay or a little friendly connection, we are here to make sure your time is comfortable, easy, and personal. We live on-site, we say hello and are happy to assist when needed, while respecting your privacy and space. Whether it’s arranging a transfer, recommending a local café, or helping plan a short excursion — help is never far away My co-host, Muruu, is available for a friendly game of pool; foosball or scrabble when time allows. On my walking days, I sometimes invite guests to join me for a morning walk along the beach, at Bamburi Nature Trails or around our gated community — a lovely way to experience Mombasa like a local. Other things to note For convenience, airport and SGR transfers can be arranged. We also help organise guided Mombasa city tours and, on request, we can connect guests with trusted contacts for Wasini Island and Tsavo safari excursions. The nearest beach is about a 20-minute walk or a quick 10-minute tuk-tuk ride, while small mini-markets are less than 10 minutes away on foot. A variety of restaurants and shopping malls are located within a 400 m–2 km radius. Breakfast is complimentary and freshly prepared each morning — a warm, home-style start to your day. Dinner can also be arranged on request at an additional charge, featuring simple, freshly cooked coastal dishes. As part of coastal living, our water pressure pump is manually operated by staff when needed. Just let us know when you’d like to shower, and we’ll switch it on to ensure a steady flow of water. Electricity runs on prepaid tokens. A fair daily allowance is provided for your comfort, though if usage exceeds this (for example, with air-conditioning use), guests simply top up additional units directly. This system allows everyone to manage their own usage fairly without passing on extra charges to non-airconditioning users. Guests staying above seven nights will cover their own electricity after the seventh night, typically Kes 500 –2000 per week depending on your air-conditioning use. We’re happy to share simple energy-saving tips to help manage usage efficiently. Occasional power surges or short blackouts can occur in Mombasa, but they are usually brief. We report them promptly to Kenya Power, and service is typically restored quickly. You may hear the early-morning call to prayer, around 5 a.m, a gentle part of Mombasa’s coastal rhythm. Most guests adapt easily to the sound and continue to enjoy restful sleep. To maintain a calm and secure environment, we do not host unvetted walk-ins. All guests must be declared at the time of booking. A detailed House Manual is available in your room and on this platform to guide you through all amenities and local tips.
