The space The space contracted in this ad is the Cococana Apartment, which offers the best view of the site: an 11-meter-long balcony with a privileged view of the river and the Atlantic Forest, as well as a panoramic view of the bathtub and the starry sky at night — either from the balcony, relaxing on the sun loungers or hammocks, or directly from the king-size bed. The apartment is distributed on two floors. On the ground floor, there is a full kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, electric oven, 5-burner cooktop, sandwich maker, toaster, blender, electric coffee maker and dishwasher. The colonial-style dining room is integrated with the living room, which has a very comfortable sofa (retractable and reclining), all in an air-conditioned environment with hot/cold air conditioning of 24,000 BTUs. The space also has a 65” 4K Smart TV with Netflix, two fans and a large glass door facade, which gives direct access to the balcony. In the living room, two steps lead to a small hall: on the right is the toilet; going up the stairs, you access the bedroom. Also on the ground floor, in front of the toilet, there is a door on the left that belongs to Flat 3 and remains always locked — it can only be opened in the case of joint rental of the two units. Going up the staircase, illuminated by large glass windows, you reach the suite, located on the right. The door on the left is for Flat 2 and remains locked, and can be connected if another couple rents this unit. The dormitory has a 32” Smart TV, hot/cold air conditioning, ceiling fan and balcony overlooking the river from two angles. Above the king-size bed there is a skylight with an electric opening activated by a switch next to the pillows, allowing you to observe the stars before sleeping without having to get up — and close easily so as not to wake up with the sun in the morning. The bathroom has a bathtub with a fairytale view, a double sink and a spacious shower stall. Outside the apartment, all guests have free access to the attractions of the old water park: river area with a waterslide, trails in the Atlantic Forest, game room, and natural pools with waterslides. These are areas shared exclusively between the guests of the site, duly identified also in the photos of the ad to facilitate viewing. Our rustic tropical ranch is ideal for those who want to be close to the beaches of Ilhabela, without giving up intense contact with nature, tranquility and rest — with a waterfall practically on the balcony. The place was one of the island's great tourist attractions in the 1980s and 1990s, and today the old water park is shared exclusively with our guests. The river has three waterfalls, two of which form two pools with a generally weak current, creating natural pools that are perfect for swimming. The upper part of the river has a large area for sunbathing and a large slide for the more adventurous. As the river cuts through the terrain, access to the other side is via a bridge, which leads to trails through the Atlantic Forest. There are two more natural pools with slides: a smaller, shallow one, ideal for children or for those who just want to get their feet wet, and a larger, deeper one, with a long slide. The site is central and easily accessible, with paved streets from the ferry to the gate. Inside the property, the path to the parking lot is fully paved. In the main house, in addition to this apartment, there are Flat 1, Flat 2, the suite and Flat 3. In other areas of the land, distributed among the attractions, we have three more units: two cottages and the White House. In total, there are 8 units available: • White House: up to 6 people • European chalet, among pine trees: up to 4 people • Two-story chalet overlooking the stars: up to 2 people • Flat 1: up to 2 people (first floor of the main house) • Flat 2: up to 4 people in a single room, overlooking the river and the stars • Flat 3: up to 3 people, wheelchair accessible, on the ground floor • Suite: up to 2 people, more economical unit, with bedroom and bathroom, no kitchen, only basic utensils All designed to offer a unique experience of comfort, nature and exclusivity. Guest access Guests have access to all outdoor areas except the backyard of the white house. Other things to note This apartment has no shared rooms. It is located in the same complex as three other small apartments, so there may be occasional noise from other guests. We are in the midst of nature, which means living with the local fauna and natural elements of the forest, such as leaves and dust from the trees. Beautiful and varied birds — parrots, toucans, woodpeckers, among others — butterflies, wild animals and insects are part of the scenery. It is common, for example, for spiders to make webs at night in outdoor areas. Because it is a natural environment, it is not possible to keep the outdoor areas 100% free of leaves or dust, since a simple wind brings everything back. We also have the famous trademark of Ilhabela: the rubber boats. The tip is to use repellent frequently (approximately every 30 minutes) to better enjoy both the ranch and the beaches. At night, they don't show up. On the property live some animals: our Dalmatian Zap, the mutt Maya (the caretaker's), our Pomeranian Lulu Pomi — who spends most of her time indoors — and two cats that stay exclusively inside our residence. The waterfalls shown in the photos may vary in volume according to periods of drought or heavy rainfall, just as flowers have their specific flowering seasons. As the space is rented privately, there are no lifeguards, monitors, or support staff at the attractions. Guests are fully responsible for the use of all areas and activities, a condition that is part of the house rules and must be accepted at the time of booking. The property is away from the street, ensuring silence and tranquility, with only the sounds of nature. We have two neighbors, one on each side: an inn and a family home. The caretaker and his family live at the entrance to the property, very polite, quiet people and always willing to help if necessary.
