Relax & escape the heat in a Colorado ranch house while soaking your cares away in an indoor hot tub. This isolated house was an original homestead and head quarters of a working cattle ranch. Enjoy scenic views, bird watching, star gazing away from city lights, a huge kitchen, guest house , walk in shower and a fenced yard. A great way to get FAR away for a couple or up to 10 guests. Cellular service is iffy BUT WE HAVE Wi-fi SO MESSAGING APS WORK WELL and I-messenger is a great option as well. Emergency info is by the landline phone in the kitchen for guests to review. The house has a large master suite, hot tub, very large kitchen and two living room/sitting rooms. There are two additional bedrooms with laundry and mud room. Our bunkhouse has two bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower and full sized washer dryer. There is no kitchen and it should be considered as two extra bedrooms. Large fenced yard with mature spruce, pine and aspen trees. The guest house is included and has two bedrooms and a large bathroom with laundry. There are stairs at the entry with the back entry having the least (three). Being an older home, some doorways are low. Cattle are in the property. Watch where you walk!! There is no pooper scooper service! It is a ranch. Guest access Guests can access the house, guest house and fenced yard. They may hike on the 1400 acre surrounding property. The outbuildings and root cellar are STRICTLY OFF LIMITS as they are used by our grazing lease holder. The root cellar is not safe and to be avoided. Other things to note Towels are in the bath room cabinets and extra bedding in the bedroom dressers and chests. Cleaning supplies (accidents happen!) are in the closets leading to the white bedroom as is additional paper towel and bathroom tissue. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes and cookware. If we need to add items, please let us know. The cabinets do have non perishables which are there for use in emergencies or situations where stays are extended due to weather.
