The Old Northside Bed & Breakfast located in the historic Old Northside neighborhood, listed in the historic register as the Dewenter-Greenen House, built in 1885 by industrialist Herman Dewenter. Local businessman Gary Hofmeister acquired the house in 1994 to make it into a luxury Bed & Breakfast worthy of its history and lineage. Bookings will be placed in a room with a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace, the Tiffany Room (1st floor,) Literary Room or Bridal Room on the 2nd floor, based on availability The space -Jacuzzi Tub in your room -Fireplace in your room -Full breakfast each morning at a time that works best for your schedule including a hot entree, fruits, breads, hot & cold cereals, mini cheesecakes, juice, coffee, and teas -Complimentary 24/7 Snack Bar including fresh baked cookies, chips, premium soft drinks, purified water and more. -Free Private Parking Lot -Free WiFi -Cable, DVD/VCR Combo (yes VCR :) in each room with a Large selection of movies available around the house -Private bathroom in each room -Our rooms each have one bed and are best suited for single travelers, couples, or 2 friends willing to share a bed -As of July, 2022 we've upgraded our internet speed and equipped every room with firesticks, including prime video and music content, Hulu & Hulu Live TV, Disney+, ESPN+, and many of the free apps like IMDb, Crackle, Pluto, etc. Guest access Patio, dining room, living room, complimentary snack bar During your stay I am almost always in the house with the exception of having to run errands, or when I'm out of town I have an assistant Innkeeper to run the B & B.
