Nestled in this idyllic setting, directly on the banks of the Moselle and close to the city of Koblenz, is the Gülser Moselbogen campsite. In the midst of the unique natural and cultural landscape, with vineyards, picturesque villages, forests and castles, the family-friendly campsite presents itself in a sophisticated ambience. The Moselle can undoubtedly be called one of the most beautiful rivers in Germany. Already known for its pleasant climate in Roman times, a sociable culture has developed here over thousands of years in addition to world-famous Riesling locations, which welcomes guests with an open heart and knows how to enjoy life. This is certainly due to the fact that it flows through three European countries before it flows into the Rhine at the "Deutsches Eck" (German Corner): this name is also symbolic of the historical significance. For over 25 years, the Moselbogen campsite has been family-owned and is managed with a lot of love for detail. It has been tested, distinguished and awarded several times by ADAC, the German Camping Club (DCC), Auto Camper Service International (ACSI), the Federal Association of Camping in Germany (BVCD) and the General Dutch Cycling Association (ANWB). With its spacious permanent and transit sites, the campsite can be used all year round without flooding. Food and beverage: The Camping Bistro serves food for small and large appetites. Guests can expect daily changing dishes and menus, a delicious cake counter, refreshing ice cream sundaes and other delicious snacks. The bistro offers a wide selection, also to go. When the weather is nice, the terrace is open. Here you can also enjoy a "freshly tapped" beer or a wonderful Mosel wine. In addition to a TV room, campers can also use the cozy fireplace room. The morning bread roll service (without pre-order and oven-fresh from the bakery) completes the offer. Opening hours: In the high season (early April to early November) daily from 8 am to 10 pm. Surroundings: The Moselle impresses with its unique natural and cultural landscape and is characterized by viticulture. Lined with sun-drenched vineyard terraces and steep slate slopes, the Moselle winds in many river loops through a primeval landscape. Here grows the traditional Riesling, which is often tasted during a rest in one of the many winegrowers' taverns and winegrowers' houses. With a total of around 544 kilometers, the Moselle is, objectively speaking, a European waterway with dams and locks. At the same time, it is a vacation paradise that gives peace or a desire to move... just as you wish. Numerous locks invite you to observe the shipping traffic. Picturesque chapels and proud, legendary castles and palaces tell of bygone times and take the visitor back to the Dark Ages. Atmospheric wine festivals and enjoyable wine tastings - on the Moselle, everything is possible, almost at any time. Whether your stay on the Moselle is about enjoyment, sightseeing or sports activities, every desire is fulfilled here. We have summarized some leisure and excursion tips for you here: - Explorations (e.g. Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Klotten, Ehrbachklamm, Moselsteig, Lahn/Lahnstein, Baybachtal fish farm) - Activities (e.g. laser tag, paintball, eBike touring, canoe tours, paddling, speedboat, rental boat, fishing with permit) - Children's entertainment (e.g. trampoline, fairy tale forest, covered wagon ride Hatzenport) - Swimming pools (e.g. Deichwelle, Tauris, Treis Karden, Cochem) - Shopping tours (e.g. Mülheim-Kärlich industrial park, Koblenz-Forum and Löhrcenter) - Castles (e.g. Eltz, Marxburg, Ehrenburg, Stolzenfels, Reichsburg Cochem, Thurant, Pyrmont) - Attractions (e.g. Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with cable car in Koblenz, Andernach cold water geyser) A large selection of information material, brochures, route and hiking maps are available free of charge for our guests at our reception. Guest access Guests are welcome in the entire house/spa area.... (Private: utility and connecting room) Other things to note - No party house (neighborly consideration & quiet hours in the complex must be observed) - No rental to minors without an adult supervisor - Due to legal hygiene regulations, a complex water change is required for hot tubs for each new guest, so for short stays of 3 nights, a 50 euro water change fee is due (cash on arrival) if you want to use the hot tub. (Sauna and everything else is of course still included)
