This question asks me to write what I love about my neighborhood, and the answer is: EVERYTHING! Gambier is the quintessential small college town. We are steps away from one of the most beautiful colleges in the world. While not officially "on campus," we are as close as it gets. We live adjacent to student housing Morgan Apartments. Gambier is extremely pedestrian-friendly. There are usually college events happening such as lectures, live music, or art exhibitions. During the summer, the residents of Gambier make up for the absence of the students at the Kenyon Inn and Village Inn. The Village Market is an interesting mix of typical pantry staples, unique beer and wine selections, and local food offerings. This area is perfect for those looking for a weekend outdoors. We are within walking distance of the Kokosing Gap Trial, the Kokosing River, and the Brown Family Environmental Center hiking trails. Knox County has quality parks, public golf courses, and nature preserves. We live in the heart of the village and everything is within walking distance: KAC, The Church of the Holy Spirit, the VI, Kenyon Inn, and more. There is space for two cars to park in our drive, and there are two nearby parking lots. WE COLLECT a 3% OCCUPANCY TAX. Please leave it at the residence at check out and take a photo as proof that you left a check or cash. If we do not receive it from you, we reserve the right to use the RESOLUTION CENTER to collect it from you. Text ALY before you leave should you have questions.
