Lovely large room with a queen-size bed in a private charming house filled with character. The Messalonskee Stream flows behind the back yard. The house is in Oakland about 2 miles from exit 127 of I-95. The Belgrade lakes are nearby as is Colby College. It has a first rate art museum that's always free. There are several wonderful restaurants in town and 2 movie theaters. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and enjoy the rest of the house. During your stay I am happy to provide you with information about the area or traveling in Maine if you need advice. Other things to note The room is on the second floor with a private bath in the hall. I have a small friendly dog that will greet you at the door, tail a-waggin'. The room has a window a/c unit in the warm summer months.
