Cosy retro gem! 5km from CBD.
Description
The guest bedroom has one queen bed and a double mattress can be added to sleep another person. Our place is close to public transport (approx 8 minute walk to the bus stop- bus takes 10 minutes into cbd). We are a 5 or so minute walk to the gorgeous Main Street of Eaglehawk that hosts cafes, pubs, bakeries, fast food and cute little shops. There is also a wonderful art cinema in the Main Street (The Star). Close to Lake Neanger, Lake Tom Thumb and Canterbury park. The space Our house is new and shiny! (12 months old) Although, we are into vintage so our house is decorated accordingly. The kitchen and living area are bright and welcoming. This area is open space living. The guest bedroom is very cosy and comfortable. Guest access Guests can feel free to use our kitchen, as long as it is cleaned up after use. Guests can use all other areas of our house (apart from our bedroom). We are pretty flexible and try to make it as easy as possible for our guests. When possible we are happy to pickup/drop off at the train station either in Eaglehawk (around the corner from us) or the one in the CBD. We have two bikes which guests can use anytime. We also have fishing rods that can be borrowed to fish at either of the lakes close by. Breakfast is included- tea, coffee, bread, spreads and cereals. During your stay We are pretty relaxed and always up for a chat and more than happy to help guests with ideas of what to do and where to go whilst in Bendigo and the surrounds. We loveeeeee food so we can definitely recommend places to eat and drink! We are also very happy to give guests as much space as they require. Simon works Mon-Fri and Han Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri, so we won't always be around. We are more than happy for guests to contact us anytime if they need though. Other things to note Our house is child friendly. We have wifi and there is room for parking.
