The space Located within The Shores complex at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. 10-15 minutes to anywhere you need to go, downtown Traverse City or Elk Rapids. Located across the road from the main property of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and 5 minutes from Turtle Creek Casino. 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. We are close to the wineries, breweries, shopping, restaurants, great golf courses, skiing, bike trails and much more that the area has to offer! If you are looking for a quiet and romantic getaway this studio unit is perfect as it offers you beautiful views but more privacy as it is one building away from the beach and outdoor pool activities. We just acquired this studio unit (Spring 2018) but we own other units in the same complex which makes it nice if you are traveling with a group. Our guests have access to the beautiful and well maintained grounds, beach chairs and activities on the beach however only guests of the resort have access to the outdoor pool. Guest access Beautiful beach with beach chairs set up (but moveable), beach towels, games on the beach for young and old alike. The water is swimmable in late summer and potentially very early fall and the lake (East Bay of Lake Michigan) has a sandy hard bottom. The resort has beautiful walking trails with lights at night. There is also a public park next to the unit for additional space to walk on the beach or grill etc.
