Weekend house in the countryside near the city

You can enjoy nature without direct neighbors and are still in the residential area of Durlach after 200 m. The pedestrian zone of Durlachs can be reached in 5 minutes by car and only 12 minutes by car is Karlsruhe, the 2nd largest city in Baden-Württemberg. A wonderful place to relax and unwind! The space The uniqueness lies in the proximity to the city of Karlsruhe and the seclusion at the same time. You wake up to birdsong and enjoy your first coffee in the morning sun. Bed linens and towels/dish towels are of course available for you. As well as a hairdryer and if homesickness should become too great, we also have a hot water bottle for you. Because we find it beautiful to be woken up by the sun in the morning, we only have a white curtain in the bedroom. It is therefore not possible to completely darken the room. Guest access The weekend house/property is completely fenced and is available to our guests alone. Dogs are very welcome with us after prior consultation. Unfortunately, our cottage is not suitable for cats. Our kitchen is equipped with dishes, cooking pots, pans, a dishwasher, fridge, ceramic hob and a Nespresso machine (small selection of capsules included in the booking price). Please note that we do NOT have an oven. A special highlight is the 200 x 200 cm bed, in which the particularly high mattress in conjunction with a soft topper creates a feeling of "lying on clouds." Be careful, there is a risk of oversleeping!!! ;-) We have compiled a few dining and shopping options for you in our guidebook. Other things to note IMPORTANT FOR AUTUMN & WINTER: Our garden house is equipped with underfloor heating in the front living and dining area, which ensures a basic heat of 18° - 22°. However, in order to have a cozy warmth throughout the house, the wood-burning stove must be operated in the "old, romantic way." Wood is available! Pollen allergy sufferers should note that our garden house is surrounded by open nature and there may therefore be pollen at certain times of the year. Likewise, our water pressure is not quite as strong as usual, although it is drinking water and not rain or well water. For all guests, we of course have a vacuum cleaner, as well as various cleaning utensils.
