Jack’s Cottage- Taabinga Station

Taabinga Station is a heritage listed working cattle property, vineyard and farmstay 2.5 hours from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Easy drive to the beautiful Bunya Mountains or the wine district of Moffatdale. Big spaces and fresh air, fabulous sunsets and great walks. If you're wanting peace and quiet, Taabinga is the perfect place. The space Jack’s Cottage was built in 1909 for the station’s workers and families. It has been fully renovated with wide wisteria shaded verandahs, a covered deck for watching the beautiful South Burnett sunsets or our sweet natured Murray Grey cattle and a vine covered pergola with pizza oven, wood bbq and a huge 10 seater table. Jack’s cottage is very private with large established trees and garden. The cottage also has bikes, a trampoline, toys, books and games for everyone. Each room is thoughtfully decorated with comfortable beds, fans, electric blankets and reading lights. The entire cottage is airconditioned in summer and has a fabulous Shropshire built wood burning stove for warmth in winter. All wood is supplied. There are two bathrooms for extra convenience, plus a laundry. Other things to note Breakfast basket for o'night or week-end stays can be arranged at an extra cost. Please enquire on booking. Dogs allowed by arrangement with the host. Easter and Christmas period have a minimum three night booking.
