Spacious, cosy sole use lodge in village of Alrewas, Derbyshire. Forget your worries in this serene property. Ideally located as there are many great attractions. The National Memorial Arboretum, Lichfield City, Peak District and Cannock Chase. There is level access and facilities for less able guests. It features one kingsize bedroom with en-suite and one single bedroom plus additional bathroom with shower over. The cosy open plan kitchen/living room opens onto the patio area with seating. The space The Lodge is light and spacious, offering homely, comfortable accommodation with easy access. The sky lights bathe the space in light & serenity. Facilities include fully fitted kitchen, relaxing lounge, peaceful king size bedroom with en-suite shower room with room for optional travel cot. Additional single bedroom, and separate bathroom with shower over the bath. Spacious lounge diner with optional high chair and sitting room, all offering simple comfortable, away from it all surroundings. Outside, relax on the secluded patio or on the swing bench in the private garden. There is also a chiminea for your use on those chiller evenings. Guest access The lodge is approached via its own driveway and path to the front door all on one level. It has wide doorways & a walk-in shower. The surrounding village of Alrewas is mainly on even ground which makes it an enjoyable walk out. Along the way the local shop, canal system and local parks and Mill stream can be visited, along with the village cafe on main street. We have private off street parking so your car can be left behind, along with any stress or worries. Other things to note We are a fairly new venture to Airbnb and therefore, we are still in the process of improving what we feel is already an excellent space. Amongst these improvements is suitable fencing & shrub planting between our cottage and the Lodge which gives lovey secure natural privacy. We have got a puppy but training is going well, although her curiosity can get the better of her, and may try to meet & greet briefly through the fence. Please be assured you will hardly know she is there.
