May Cottage - 2 bedroom mews cottage with parking in a prime spot in the vibrant village of Milford on Sea. The cottage has a sunny front patio to enjoy your breakfast & coffee to start the day. The cottage is 2 minutes walk from shops, pubs, parks and restaurants. Under 15 minutes walk to the beach. Ideal for walks, cycling, birdwatching & watersports. Milford on Sea is on the south coast, a vibrant village between Bournemouth and Southampton in the heart of New Forest next to Lymington. The space The cottage is of mews style within a small development of 6 properties. We comfortably sleep 4 in 2 double/ twin bedrooms. We have a small sunny patio area at the front which is a sun trap from first thing in the morning until early afternoon. Outside: - The cottage is off the main road leading to a private entrance. Other properties in the mews are also holiday lets. - Small patio area at the front with table and chairs. - Private parking Downstairs: - Door opening onto hall. - Kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. - Sitting/dining room with corner sofa-bed, dining table, feature fireplace, TV, Amazon fire stick and family games. Upstairs: Bedrooms have a nice outlook over neighbours tropical garden. - Bedroom 1, Large bedroom with superking memory foam bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. - Bedroom 2, Smaller room with kingsize bed which can be made into 2 small singles and open wardrobes. Please specify how you would like the bed made up at booking. - Newly fitted bathroom with bath and powerful rainfall shower, hand basin and WC. The Area: Just a 2 minute walk towards the green brings you to award winning restaurants plus independent shops and cafes. There is a big park just round the corner which the kids will love. The large beach which is 10-15 min walk has stunning views across to the Isle of Wight and the Needles, it can be sandy at mid-low tide. The sand bar that is uncovered at very low tide creates a shallow lagoon. Spend the afternoon exploring Keyhaven Nature Reserve, paddleboarding, or crabbing by the bridge. In the evening, unwind on the popular beach and watch the sunset. We provide crabbing lines, a bucket, and a spade for both kids and adults, along with two camping chairs—perfect for relaxing on the village green. Guest access Parking: - Own parking space - We provide a short stay permit which can be used in the towns council run carparks in the New Forest including the village carpark which is 2 mins walk away. - Additional parking can be found in Lawn Road or Keyhaven Road approximately 5 min walk away.
