Casa El Cantu, Casa rural Melarde

Traditional Asturian tillage house recently restored respecting its ancient structure and with noble materials such as stone and wood, where our roots are from the 18th century (as far as I have been able to document). The space Holiday home with capacity for 4 people, consists of 2 floors on the first floor there is a full bathroom and two bedrooms with large bed, hall that goes out to a wooden corridor with sofa (for rest, reading or contemplation); on the ground floor we have the living room with fireplace and kitchen-dining room with all the tools. Located in the village of Melarde, at the top of the Alto del Cordal del Cerru el Tombu, whose mountain we call La Cuesta. Beautiful and quiet environment the ideal place to disconnect and offer the possibility of carrying out various activities since at the same time it is close to important urban centers. It is located 5 km from Infiesto capital of the Piloña council and 39 km from Covadonga (birthplace of the Reconquista), Los Lagos de Covadonga (origin of the Picos de Europa National Park). In front is the Sierra del Sueve (birthplace of the native Asturcon's Horse) and the Cueva del Sidrón, which has a prehistoric site with some cave paintings and numerous Neandertal human remains have been found, the most important find of Asturian prehistory. Wonderful places to enjoy a few days of rest and recreation.
