This cabin sits a half mile from the Appalachian Trail. The cabin was built a number of years ago and had been abandoned for over thirty years. A local family bought it and fixed it up with loving and tender care. The cabin sits in secluded woods surrounded by nature. For the good and the bad, it is the country and you should set your expectations accordingly. The cabin is meticulously cared for. However, not surprisingly, very occasionally, we deal with birds, bugs, critters, and power outages. It is more than made up for by the glory of sunsets, sunrises, the colors and smells of the seasons, and an opportunity for true relaxation. If you want a quiet, private place to think or relax that is still close to wonderful restaurants, local vineyards, the cute towns of Paris, Upperville and Middleburg and it vibrant historical horse community, this is the place for you.
