Worley Cottage

Built in 1905, Worley Cottage combines cosy and convenience with a delightful mix of old Hobart town charm and new appliances. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, one with a workstation, and a spacious mezzanine level with king singles. Relax in the reading nook by the fireplace or venture out to the sunny rose-filled courtyard. This great location is within walking distance of all of Hobart's city and famous local restaurant attractions. The space The cottage has been tastefully set up for you to enjoy the charm of Hobart with modern functionality. Each of the rooms has dedicated heating while the main living area features an ambient gas fireplace. Where better to spend a chilly evening for a catch-up with someone or a good book, and a tasty Tassie wine and cheese! The kitchen is complete with a gas cooktop and electric oven, dishwasher, coffee machine (with complimentary coffee pods) and a well-stocked pantry. Gas hot water is provided so you are never short of a great hot shower or if you prefer; spend some time relaxing in the bath. Perfect for after a long haul. On the mezzanine level, you will have access to the second TV, board games, and a PlayStation with a selection of games. The TV in the living area is connected to Foxtel (drama and movies), Netflix, and a Chrome Cast for you to project an application from your hand-held device. A Sonos sound-system is also provided. Enjoy some TV time, a movie, or simply relax with your music. The cottage is easy walking distance to the vibrant North Hobart eating strip which includes the state cinema, and is directly across from a family-friendly hotel for meals and a tipple if you want! It is also one block away from the Queens domain - a great place for a local bush walk or run. Just take the pedestrian cross-over at the Brooker highway and you are in the domain - a short stroll and you are miles from city life. Guest access There's a keypad for self-check-in any time after 2 pm. You will be able to enjoy the whole cottage, courtyard and free off-street parking for a small vehicle (or plenty of street parking for a larger car right out front of the cottage or across the road in a free carpark) with no interruptions.
