There is off-street parking at Bowerlands and just a short stroll to your own private garden where the cabin is situated. If you're looking for a very private and peaceful weekend Bowerland's Cabin is the place for you. The space ' Historic Bowerlands' is the original gatekeeper's cottage from the Lillianfels estate - the home of one of the Federation founding fathers - Sir Frederick Darley. It's located within our Rhododendron-hedged two-acre garden of European trees and camellias and spruce. We love our guests to wander and enjoy it in all its seasonal glory. A great place to picnic or read a book. It provides the perfect retreat for creativity. The swimming pool is located in the main garden and is open only in summer. Guests are welcome to enjoy it. Guest access The private cabin garden overlooking the National Park is hedged and overlooked by no one. It has a lawn with seating to watch the abundant birdlife of Lorikeets, King Parrots, Kookaburra, Black Cockatoo, Lyrebirds and if you are lucky, a black-faced swamp wallaby. Or just enjoy the stars and the evening's silence from your verandah. Bordering the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park it has direct access to the famous Grand Canyon Walk and the Point Pilcher Lookout over the Grose Valley. Other things to note There is a BBQ on the outside covered deck which can be used for a cooked breakfast or a BBQ'd meal. Olive and vegetable oils are provided with seasonings. There is a microwave in the kitchen area for heating and cooking with numerous containers for pasta, vegetables, etc. Registration Details PID-STRA-8276-2
