High up in the yellow corner house by the park: Many square meters and the possibility to accommodate up to 12 guests allow you to conquer and celebrate Berlin with the whole family and friends from here! A painting studio in the attic, built by ourselves. We are an artist and designer and have a painting room, a bedroom, a large kitchen-living room, a wellness bathroom and a guest and playroom fitted precisely. This is your place to stay! The space TheSpecialPlace is great for families. The base price is calculated for 2 people - each additional guest is booked at a low price. The prices include all costs for bed linens, towels, electricity, heat, Wi-Fi, etc. Children get discounts! Please ask us for the price. Airbnb doesn't differentiate between children and adults when calculating the price, but we do. Our offer is cheaper for 3 or more people. The property is registered and officially approved. It is not a misuse of housing, as it has been newly developed as a business. The 166-square-meter studio has 3 bedrooms and 14 sleeping options. It is particularly suitable for groups and large families, even 2 families with children will find enough space in the studio. If you travel with many children, then you can even feel comfortable with twelve. The accommodation is very suitable for 9 adults. However, young people must arrive with an adult companion! You enter the studio in a large, bright kitchen-living room. The long table can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob with integrated exhaust air, an oven, a refrigerator and all the pots and pans and electrical appliances you might need, including a mixer, raclette and a good coffee machine. In the 3 rooms there are a total of 14 sleeping options. One bedroom of 35 square meters has direct access to the terrace and the bathroom. It can accommodate 2 people. There is also a part of the library and the workplace. The room separated from the kitchen can accommodate 7 people. It can be used as a children's room and offers a lot of variety with a wooden train and children's books. The basic equipment consists of a bed with 3 levels and an additional mattress on a high level from which you can look through a window into the kitchen-living room! The largest room with 70 square meters is the painting room with large sofas and the library. It is a bedroom and living room at the same time. It sleeps 5. 3 in a beautiful cherry bed and also 2 on the sofas. Through the 5 m long window you have a great view. The bathroom is very large and bright. It has a large travertine washbasin, a large round shower and a huge, floating bathtub. You can see the sky from the bathtub. Next to the bathroom is the separate toilet, which can also be accessed from the kitchen. The studio is very individually furnished and is maintained by us in a familiar way. Almost all furniture is self-designed custom-made or designer pieces. The paintings and graphics are our works! We are very flexible and like to set up the apartment to suit the tour group visiting us. We have a high chair, a changing mat, a travel bed for small children, toys, books and games for all ages, and DVDs for kids and adults. The apartment is in the northern center of Berlin. Thanks to the good connection by S-Bahn, U-Bahn and buses, you can get everywhere quickly. The S-Bahn takes 15 minutes to Friedrichstr. A tram takes you directly to the Friedrichstadtpalast. The U 2 goes from Pankow via Berlin-Mitte to Potsdamer Platz and then on to Ku'damm. Located in a district with good shopping and nice cafés. Pankow is the ideal place to relax after a day full of new impressions that Berlin offers everywhere. Excellent international restaurants invite you to leave your own kitchen cold. Experience the big city together, take advantage of the many opportunities to experience a wonderful carefree time with the children. Pankow is the most child-rich district in Berlin and is well equipped with many newly designed playgrounds, animal enclosures and a children's farm, which can be reached from the studio in a few minutes through the park. There's a skate park there, too! With its many parks, this district is one of the greenest districts in Berlin. You can start the day with a jog in the beautiful Bürgerpark, then relax there in the Cafe Rosenstein with a coffee, and end it in the evening at sunset. Guest access The studio is enthroned above the apartment building under the roof, on the third floor. After the raised ground floor, two more floors can be reached via the large staircase until the upper floor is reached via the pleasantly flat steps; there is no elevator. The key works for the apartment door, but also for the front door and access to the backyard as well as the shelter for the garbage containers located there. In the backyard there is space for bicycles and for playing, on the grass and the pavement. Other things to note We have furnished all the furniture and fixtures for ourselves - and we keep them in good condition for you. The walls are not wallpapered but coated by us with natural materials, partly hand-polished. The floors are made of natural wood parquet, terracotta and real linoleum. We would be happy if you enjoy and respect these peculiarities in the studio. The kitchen is completely new and designed for you!! (February 2025) It is made of solid wood and wood veneer - and of a color-contrasting, modern plastic material. This material may only be wiped with a little detergent and no hot cookware may be placed on it! Only with wooden cutting boards or coasters as insulation. Thanks for being able to handle it. Take your time to try out how easy the drawers and compartments are to open - they have no handles! (Tip: A short push is enough. The large fronts have narrow edges for intervention.) Parking: The yellow corner house is located on a quiet street between the town hall and the Bürgerpark - so it is easy to find a parking space; usually even right in front of the house. Free of charge! If you come by bike, you can park it in the covered courtyard. In front of the house there are stable bicycle racks. If requested, we can also offer services: Shopping or laundry - just ask if you need anything.
