Charming 3 bedroom home near CERN Thoiry Geneva

Traditional French charm with modern comfort: welcome to your home away from home, with mountain views and easy access to CERN and Geneva. Part of a centuries-old farmstead, the house has 3 bedrooms, 2 en-suites (1 with a shower; 1 with a bath tub), a large eat-in kitchen and a comfy, upstairs living room. An ideal option if you need furnished accommodation while house hunting, on business or on holiday in the area. *Very limited public transport. A car is essential!* The space This is the dream! A centuries-old farm in a French village, which has grown up around it, with mountain views and rural charm, but with modern plumbing and heat and easy access to the rest of the world. Everything is provided ... bedding, towels, toiletries, hairdryers, all kitchen needs, dishwasher, washing machine, DVDs and board games (for older children and adults) and, yes, a corkscrew. You'll need it for the bottle of wine with which we welcome you! The house is by the road and other houses. It is 15 minutes' walk to the bakery and village shop. Guest access You have the whole house (with exterior terrace) and parking. The house shares a courtyard with the house in which we live. Other things to note IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY WC/bathroom facilities: Both the shower room and the bathroom are en suite (ie accessed through bedrooms). The ground floor en suite has a shower, sink and toilet. The attic floor en suite has a bath tub, sink and toilet. Access/mobility issues: La ferme de Choudans is an old and rustic farmhouse, which is – of course – its charm. It has steep staircases, one of which is open and cannot be gated (this staircase goes from the upstairs living room to the attic floor and is visible in the photo of the living room). As such, whilst we welcome all individuals, and frequently host people of all ages, you should know that persons with mobility challenges will be best accommodated on the ground floor and that small children should be closely supervised, especially upstairs.
