We offer accommodation in a private home shared with our family and other guests—ideal for language students or cultural exchange visitors. Located centrally near Balluta Bay and the St Julian’s/Sliema seafront, with free street parking. Close to English schools like EEC-ITIS, NSTS, Chiswick House, the University of Malta, and Malta Hospital (for student placements). The space This is a spacious room, luxiuriously finished with white furniture and a white queen leather bed. It has a large window for ample natural light, a wardrobe with hanging space, a dresser and a tall mirror. The room also includes a desk and a flat smart TV. The mattress is memory foam for maximum relaxation. The large bathroom is next door and includes with a large walk in shower. The room is in a shared house with other guests. Nonetheless, the room is private a keys for both room and main door are given on check in. For summer days we provide a fan in the room. If you would like to upgrade we have ACs for €8 per night. This is to be used for heating in cold days, same rate applies. Its home away from home!!! The best place to enjoy your holiday in Malta :) Guest access We like to greet all guests and open for them on arrival to show them around the house. If we are not at the house or you have a late arrival we have a lockbox for our guests so they can come in flexibly anytime (please let us know of your arrival time upon booking). We provide a key to the house and a key to the room so that our guests can have their privacy. Guests are free to use the kitchen, living room and backyard anytime. Guests are to clean after use and ensure all gadgets are unplugged/switched off after use when using the kitchen. During your stay This house is run by our family, Carmen will make sure you have a familiar face everyday, she is the owner and she makes sure to keep the house clean and tidy. Jess is also there to answer all your questions also via whatsapp 24/7. We like to give our guests their space while on vacation so you will not see us around at the house all the time. Though we are always very reachable for any questions you might have, of we are not at the houss just leave us a message on airbnb/whatsapp/call and we reply quickly Jess can give you tips about the Maltese islands so you can have tips from locals :) Other things to note Please note that apart from total payment due there is an eco/ city tax of €1.50 pp per night up to a max. of €15 pp. Total payment of tax is to be settled in cash on check in. For your safety and peace of mind, security cameras are installed in the kitchen, living/dining area, and at the main entrance and first floor. The entrance, kitchen/living room and courtyard are shared between guests. Some rooms have a shared bathroom while others have a private bathroom. For summer days we provide fans, should you wish to use the AC there is a fee of €8 per night. This is to be used for heating in cold days, same rate applies. We do not do laundry- for long term stays if needed any laundry will be charged at €10 pwr load and date need to be agreed before with Carmen. We have handwashing facilities in the backyard.
