A great place to base your self to enjoy the wonderful West Coast of Tasmania and Cradle Mountain. The space Our house offers 3 bedrooms, set out with 1 queen, 1 double and 2 sets of bunk beds. A spacious lounge area and fully self catering kitchen with a large fridge. The house is centrally located in the Tullah Village, with a double carport, large shed and fully fenced yard. Unwind on our deck, taking in in the breath-taking views of Mount Farrell and Mount Murchison while enjoying the serenity of On Sale. The bathroom is the unusual original set up from when Hydro settled in Tullah. The setup is; the bath and vanity together, Shower on its own and 1 toilet. Perfect for work trips, one night stop overs or a weekend away to relax, explore and rejuvenate. We welcome anyone up to a group of 8 and their furry friends (2 outside pets allowed) Guest access Guest has access to the whole house, yard and shed. The house is accessed via lockbox Other things to note Full private laundry for guests, including washing machine, washing powder, dryer and clothes line. Travel Distances: Strahan - 83.7 km Cradle Mountain - 63.4km Queenstown - 56.6km Mount Farrell walking track entrance is only approx.10 minute walk from On Sale, or a 2 minute drive. Mount Murchison walking track - 7.6km approx. Montezuma Falls walking track - 20.5km approx. Don't forget Tullah also has great mountain bike tracks! Tullah does not have a fuel station. The closet fuel is in Rosebery which is 14km drive south of Tullah. Alternatively Burnie, Waratah, Queenstown and Cradle Mountain offer fuel. There is no supermarket in town, so its necessary to pick up supplies before coming. Meal options available in Tullah are: The takeaway shop is open from 6am - 3pm Monday to Friday. No supermarket in town. Lunch and Dinner is available at the Tullah Lakeside Lodge 7 days a week, last meal orders are taken at 7.30pm, if your expecting to arrive later give them a call.
