Cute and private guest room/ensuite in Glastonbury

Welcome to Glastonbury! Our private guest room is definitely cosy & small but it's completely self-contained & beautifully formed. There's a parking space on the drive for you, your own entrance, a private decked patio, private shower room & ammenities incl: Wifi, flat screen TV, fridge & microwave. The room is an annex attached to the side of my house. Tea, coffee, milk & light breakfast supplies will be in your room on arrival & there's a cool little shop just around the corner too. The space We live in a lovely estate on Windmill Hill, at the top of one of Glastonbury's ancient hills, and your room is just a short 10/15 minute walk from the top of the main High street. It's a very pretty walk but it is definitely uphill, so it might not be suitable for everyone. My house is right next to St Edmund's mound, a spiritual site with stunning views of the Tor and Chalice Hill. There is also a great short-cut to the Tor from here which is useful for visitors wishing to climb the steps to the top and then visit the White Spring and Chalice Wells. It's lovely to be so close to everything Glastonbury has to offer, and yet elevated enough to escape the often crazy Glastonbury energies and have a little peace. The porch is a lovely space to sit in the morning as the birds sing, or in the sunshine of an afternoon or dusky evening, even in the rain as you're completely covered. Or you can always relax inside and watch Netflix, BBC iplayer etc on the flat screen television. You'll have your own key so you can come and go as you please. Guest access Guests have full use of the car parking space on the drive, the decked porch and the ensuite room. The room has a sound proofed fire-door that leads to my kitchen, but is kept locked for your privacy. I live with my son and pet Cocker Spaniel dog 'Nigel', so you may hear a bit of sound coming from the kitchen at meal-times, but we keep things as quiet as possible in the evenings. Your privacy is important so I won't intrude into your space unless required. Other things to note We live at the top of a hill. It takes 10 minutes to walk down to the High street, but the walk back up again is steepish in places, so it's probably not for non-walkers. There are loads of cheap carparks in Glastonbury if you want to drive down, which takes 2 minutes! :)
