Quaint iconic Island home, 2 storey 3 Bedroom Cottage on beautiful block with views to the bush, close to ferry. Wildlife. Back deck. Front verandah. 5 Beds; Downstairs: I queen bedroom with access to bathroom. Upstairs: Bed 2, 1 Queen and Bed 3, 1 King size single, 1 single bed, optional trundle single, Porta cot. There are 2 bathrooms i.e 1 bath with shower, 1 toilet, 1 vanity in the house and then outside a bathroom with 1 shower cubicle, 1 toilet, 1 vanity. The space The cottage with its quiet and convenient location is suitable for a variety of holiday themes; Family get togethers, couples getaways, families with boats, walkers, cyclists. People requiring retreat and creatives looking for inspiration. You board the ferry from Paynesville and arrive 3 or so minutes later at the Raymond Island side of the Mcmillan Strait. The fee is $14 per car return for every trip from Paynesville. The ferry leaves on the hour and every 20 minutes from the island to Paynesvile, loads and returns to the island side after 10 mins. Please note: All guests requiring a bed must be added to the guest list no matter their age. The porta cot is free. All pets must be added to the guest list individually. Guest access The back garden is fully fenced for children and pet security. There is ample space in front of the house and in the driveway for two cars and a boat. The garage is not accessible. The second bathroom is located outside the main house a short walk along the path which is illuminated at night. Other things to note HEATING: The heating consists of a gas heater in the lounge room which heats the lounge, dining, kitchen and main bedroom quite adequately. There are doors between the kitchen and living room and the upstairs so you can zone the heating in the evenings. We've always been very cosy. In the bathrooms there are electric blow heaters to use whilst in the room. COOLING: There are two air conditioners in the cottage; one in the kitchen/living area and one in the main bedroom downstairs. Upstairs there are mobile electric fans. PETS: If you bring your pets on your holiday kindly COLLECT ALL EXCREMENT FROM THE PROPERTY before leaving and place it in a sealed plastic bag and put in rubbish bin. Please bring pets own bedding and food bowls. LINEN: All bedding and towels are provided and beds will be freshly made up to suit the party numbers. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. Tea towels, hand towels and bath mats are provided. We prefer if food and drink and pets are not taken upstairs. The laundry facilities are for your incidental use. We refer you to the laundromat in Paynesville for large quantities of washing.
