Tara Hill is back after going through a 2.5 year rebuild which now includes 3 separate buildings with accommodation for up to 18 people. We are a unique luxury country escape 10 mins from the town of Dungog or 2.5 hours from Sydney. We are perched high up on Flat Tops ridge giving you amazing views of the Barrington Tops plus the rolling hills to the east. The space Tara Hill Country Escape has undergone a complete renovation and we are now excited to offer an extensive range of luxury accommodation options. From small groups in the Main Cottage (2 x king bedrooms, 1x queen bedroom, 4 x king singles in bunk room, large bathroom with bath and an ensuite, full kitchen) Additional guest spaces in the newly built Black Barn (1 x king bedroom, 4 x king singles in bunk room, large bathroom with bath, kitchenette and Family Room). The Black Barn is available as an addition to the Main Cottage dwelling not instead of and cannot be booked separately. The stunning freshly built pool and Pool House (1 x queen bed) can comfortably accommodate a couple and small child including a kitchenette and bathroom. Tara Hill is a space you can come together with your family and loved ones to celebrate milestones moments together or simply relax and enjoy each other’s company. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city it’s a special secluded spot surrounded by nature. We look forward to hosting your group big or small. Offering fabulous options to enrich your experience such as private chefs, massages, catering and florists making your next event a breeze. Sunsets of red, orange, pink and blue will become your afternoon delight. Go hiking, pack a picnic, take a dip in the pool or simply laze the day away on the wide veranda watching the postcard perfect scenery change as the day rolls on. Feeling energetic or wanting to expel some of the kids energy? Hit the pickle ball or basketball court for a family fun game. Stay cosy by the warm in door fire or toast some marshmallows outside around the fire pit as the most spectacular stars appear in the sky. Wind your way down the gum tree lined hill to the historical town of Dungog and here you'll find all the essentials - IGA, bakery, pubs, restaurants, cafes, galleries and the renowned Dungog Common mountain bike park. This property is perfect for Mountain Bikers looking to ride the Dungog Trails. A quick internet search is all that's needed to find Mountain Bike rental in Dungog. Minimum nights stay apply over long weekends and over the school holidays. Please inquire directly with us prior to placing your booking. Guest access The whole property can be rented in parts depending on the number of guests. Initially you must rent the main House which sleeps 10 people, if you require more accom the new black Barn is also available for another 6 guests, it also includes a Kitchenette and Family room. The Pool Cabana is also available for 2 guests, includes Kitchenette and Bathroom overlooking the pool and the views. Pricing is dependent on the number of guests, initially the main house is between $750 to $1,000 per night for 1 x family of 4 people, then the nightly rate increases accordingly depending on the guest number.
