As a small family-owned & operated boutique lodge, we cater for discerning travellers seeking personal attention in a welcoming & laid-back atmosphere. Our Horopito suite is a family-friendly self-contained unit for up to four people with a large bedroom (queen & two single beds) plus ensuite bathroom. The unit has a full kitchen, dining table & living room with a large flat-screen TV & comfortable sofa. It also offers outdoor seating, access to our garden terrace & views of Mt Ruapehu. The space Horopito suite is part of Tongariro Crossing Lodge, a far cry from the basic accommodation you usually find in national parks. If you are after a clean, cosy, warm and private stay, look no further. Colonial style character buildings, high quality linen, immaculately clean and warm suites, comfortable beds, warm hospitality and complimentary facilities such as unlimited internet, USB charges in all rooms, laundry and drying room for outdoor gear, are enjoyed by our guests all year round. Guest access Our spacious and comfortable guest suites have private access each and are perfect for relaxing after a hard day’s trekking, biking, skiing or travelling. In the warmer months, enjoy our lovingly tended terrace garden, complete with mountain views. Our guests enjoy a breakfast served in the common guest lounge with the views of our lovely garden and Mt Ngauruhoe. The breakfast is continental, full of fresh ingredients and our fresh homemade bread - a real hit with our guests. The price of the breakfast is $15 per person ($10 for a child) and can be booked with us on your arrival.
