Other things to note For those who come by car, it is useful to know that in Palermo, in the Historic Center, the limited traffic zone for cars is active from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The perimeter roads are freely accessible, in order to access the ZTL you must have a daily pass. Transfers to and from the airport are available upon request (ask for availability). It is possible to check in by 8:00 p.m. For those who need to check in late, after 10:00 p.m., there is a cost of €20.
