However, if an item is found that can reasonably be identified as belonging to a guest, the accommodation commits to safeguarding it for a maximum period of 15 natural days from the departure date. During this time, the guest may request the return of the item, bearing the corresponding shipping costs. After this period has expired and if the guest has not claimed the item, the accommodation may freely dispose of it, under the understanding that it has been voluntarily abandoned.
