Eastwood Lodge is a great place to start if you’re looking to relax in the exuberant countryside of Walberswick. You will have the entire lodge for you You'll be in the heart of the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, just 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk from Walberswick town and its stunning coastline beaches. Walberswick have the best salt marshes around. The lodge dates back to the 1900 and still keeps its historical rustic nature and traditional roots, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The space The lodge is composed of four units: On the ground floor is the master unit and on the first floor, three more units with different setups to give the perfect privacy for guests or families that will share the lodge among them. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen a living/dining room and a conservatory for the use of all! GROUND FLOOR unit: - Master bedroom with a king-size bed. - Second bedroom with a double bottom bunk bed (please note that bottom bed fits 2 children or only 1 adult and the top bunk is not suitable for adults). - Sitting and reading area on a hallway room from master to a second bedroom - Fully equipped bathroom OVERFLOW unit - The first room with 2 single beds. - The second room with 1 single bed. The lodge dates back to the 1900s so PLEASE NOTE for this unit there is a large private bathroom on the ground floor, access to which is gained from outside the front door of the house. TWIN unit - This studio has two single beds. - Fully equipped bathroom STATUE unit - This studio has one King size bed - Fully equipped bathroom All units on the first floor include a private sitting/dining area and a small kitchenette, which includes microwave; toaster, kettle and a fridge- also equipped with your necessary cutlery and utensils. PLEASE REFER TO THE LAYOUT PICTURE OF THE LODGE TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OR THE UNITS AND SPACES!!! Amazing and relaxing nature views make this lodge the perfect place to stay when wanting to enjoy some nature and peace. Guest access There is a large garden area, which our guests are encouraged to use and enjoy. There are washing facilities with a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink, which can be used by all of our guests. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge to which we provide secure kennels outside. Please note that next to the property there is an operating farm, which does not belong to Eastwood Lodge so we kindly ask guests not to enter and respect the property of the farm owner. Other things to note We are by no way the glamorous Hilton hotel catering to the high rollers, but a simple, real countryside place to stay. If you are looking for an escape from the all the fuss and hustle 'n' bustle of city life, then you've come to the right place! The lodge dates back to the 1900s so when fully occupied there are some concessions you need to understand, like: - Not being able to use all bathroom showers at the same time. - The type of construction may not suitable for people with reduced mobility. - Noises such as water and heating pipes and animals on the adjacent farm, such as dogs and game birds, occur on this property. The units have been renewed and brought back to excellent standards to provide a simple, comfortable and clean accommodation. Breakfast is included in all reservations delivered on each room. Tea and coffee are always available in the room. Breakfast will be a mixture of porridge, cereal, croissants, toast, and jams. The TV's work with Chrome cast streaming, so no satellite TV reception available. If any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask.
