Rental unit in Cannes

We are located a few moments walk behind a boulangerie, which is opposite the wonderful Plage du Midi public beach. Just a short walk through a gated private pathway which goes under the railway line. When you look out from the balcony onto the Mediterranean, please be aware that your view will be interrupted from time to time by passing trains on their way to or from Cannes station (train from Paris is a great way to arrive, by the way). My place is good for couples and business travellers.. The space The apartment was fully renovated in 2017. This year we have installed roller shutters on the balcony doors in the bedroom and living room. These are operated by a switch right next to the main light switch as you enter each room. It is on the second floor of a small apartment building. After entering the property grounds from the private road, there are a couple of steps up to the main front door. Once inside the building the apartment entrance is on the top floor (three short flights of stairs) and consists of the following spaces. Entrance hall with... - door to left leading to the toilet and shower room which also houses a top-loading washing machine - open doorway to left into compact kitchen with 2-burner induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher - door ahead leading to bedroom with double bed, bedside tables with lights, wardrobe, high mounted AC unit. There are sliding doors leading to a small balcony with manual wind out canopy and a bistro table with 2 chairs - open doorway to right leading to lounge area with L-shaped sofa (converts to double bed), table & chairs, television with TV channels from SFR. On the shelf with the box there's an HDMI connection cable to the TV in case you want to connect your laptop - there's also a wired internet cable There is an acoustic guitar if you fancy a strum - please respect neighbours though and not too loud especially after 21:00 hrs. There is a table and 4 chairs which you can also take outside onto the balcony for a bit of alfresco dining Sliding doors lead to the balcony with manual wind out canopy Guest access You will have the whole apartment to yourself. There is a gravel pathway to the front door which is a few steps up. The apartment is on the top (2nd) floor and is reached by three flights of stairs. Other things to note Linen and towels are provided for the main double bed. If linen and towels are also required for the double sofa bed which is in the living room, please add 2 extra guests to the booking.
