Hilltop Cottage is a private home on a hilltop in the quaint mountain town of Mariposa. During the summer months you can sit out on our deck and listen to Music On the Green in the Mariposa Art Park while enjoying a glass of one of our local wines. Or, perhaps, take a short walk to a number of our tasty restaurants or bars! Our cottage has comfy beds, a beautiful kitchen, and cozy living spaces...you'll wish your stay was much longer!!! The space This beautiful cottage is located in the heart the Gold Rush era town of Mariposa, just minutes from the entrance gate to one of the most majestic places on the planet...Yosemite National Park. Hilltop Cottage is conveniently located allowing guests to either take a short walk to restaurants, bars and shopping or a short drive for a refreshing dip in the Merced River or a hike in Yosemite National Park. Guest access As a guest you will have access to the entire cottage, along with the outdoor area and deck where star gazing is highly recommended and encouraged. Other things to note Hilltop Cottage is a perfect choice as “home-base” for a big Yosemite adventure! ***However, please note that Yosemite National Park and the National Park Service are requiring reservations to enter. Depending upon the time of year you may be required to book a reservation to enter Yosemite. As your host, I feel it is my responsibility to inform you of the requirements.
