Description
A cozy room with a peaceful view of pastures, and probably of a horse or two. The double bed is comfy and there is a vanity that serves as a desk. A closet and dresser are ample for storing whatever you have. There's a large shared bath down the hall, large living room, and great outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. Breakfast items and coffee are available. At any moment a friendly dog or cat might greet you. The space Your room is light and bright and has a nice pastoral view. The temperature can be controlled by opening the window or by using the wall-mounted thermostat. There are guide books and maps of Snohomish and Seattle just outside the door in the hall. Your home for a day or as long as you want, is a 1901 country farm-style house sitting on a 1/3 acre of its own grass and surrounded on three sides by other people's grass. There is a long driveway where you can park your tractor, horse, or car. If you just want to sit and enjoy the green and the space, there are two porches (one with a swing) and a large deck in the backyard. Guest access If you really want that 'home away from home' feeling, feel free to use the lawn mower and weed whacker. Or just go for the barbeque, the huge deck in the backyard, living and dining rooms, and of course the shared bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the house and you are welcome to use the large television in the living room. This is Washington State, the home of Starbucks, so there is always a way to get coffee here in this house. During your stay I, or someone else, will be around when you are most of the time - I live here. I will not bug you, won't clean the room while you are in it, won't ask you to fold my laundry, but I love to get to know my guests. I am a tour guide, so I like to talk about Seattle, its history, and all the cool things to do in this state. Other things to note I have pets - 2 dogs and some cats. They don't own the house, but they like to think they rule it. On an individual basis, I would consider hosting your cat or dog too.
