The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. If you want to book less than three nights, I may be able to accommodate you, please contact me. The space The Boat Shed accommodation is all at ground floor level. A relaxing light and airy open plan sitting room/kitchen with views across the Dunes. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, pans, toaster, kettle and fridge (Picnic basket in the cupboard) The relaxing double bedroom with ensuite shower room is accessed off the living area. Double doors lead from the living area onto a small sheltered patio area, with the ancient pine providing a stunning canopy. Guest access The Boat Shed is a detached building with its own access off a quiet lane behind our house. There is off street parking adjacent to the property. Guests have sole use of the Boat Shed. Other things to note The Boat Shed was built in 2017, the patio area is fully fenced to keep dogs safe. Our lovely tree has resident birds who do like to ‘decorate’ your car so once unloaded recommend moving car to other side of lane next to Bowling Green. During June, July and August normally minimum of 7 nights stay, Saturday to Saturday. We want to be flexible so please contact us to enquire.
