Henley apartment with heated pool

Four Star rated first floor apartment in its own self-contained block with heated outdoor swimming pool in an area of outstanding natural beauty. While secluded and peaceful, it’s within easy level walking distance of Henley-on-Thames and its famous stretch of river. The property is ideal for couples or up to 3 guests. In the summer our wonderful HEATED (new for 2025) swimming pool is available to our guests. If you would like exclusive use of the pool please ask at no extra cost. The space The apartment is across the driveway well away from the main house within the triple garage block. Next to the apartment behind a gate, walls and fencing is the heated swimming pool. The property is within walking distance of Henley-on-Thames and yet set in spectacular countryside and is also right by a lovely wooded bridle path which leads to miles of walks or cycle rides in the Chilterns. There is a spacious and comfortable open-plan living space with fully equipped kitchen and stylish dining area. Four comfortable dining chairs and round glass dining table. Next to the open-plan living/dining room is a luxurious double bedroom with pocket-sprung double bed, good quality bedding, cushions and hypo-allergenic pillows. The living area is stylishly furnished with comfortable two seater sofa which also converts to a sofabed, reclining chair and brand new smart TV. The bedroom has an en-suite shower room with fully enclosed shower. Toiletries and soap provided. Large walk-in wardrobe with dressing table and mirror. Towels and all bed linen provided. Welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee provided. Gas central heating.. There is free wi-fi access for your laptop, i-pad or i-phone. The heated swimming pool is away from the main house up some steps so is secluded. It is open from June to September but please note it is occasionally used by family members. However, if you would like exclusive use, please ask us and this can be arranged at no extra cost. Swimming is at your own risk and permitted only between 8am and 8pm. NEW from June 2025: the pool is now heated with an air source heat pump and a solar cover which keeps the heat in. Guest access Guests have access to their own parking space right outside the apartment and their own patio area. They can also use the secluded patio around the swimming pool to relax in where there are sunloungers and seating. Other things to note If cats are not your thing, our place probably isn’t as Gandalf and Saffy are very friendly and do like to make themselves known to our guests! Sorry but we do not accept children under 12.
