My home is very light and airy with a garden and decking which gets all day sun! A lovely space to sit and chill with a coffee and a book! You can help yourself to complimentary tea and coffee. From the lounge you can see the sea which is a 5 minute walk away as is the village with its quirky shops, wonderful cafes, restaurants and Saturday veggie market. The ferry to Kapiti Island is also a 10/15 mins walk. The sunsets over Kapiti Island are breathtaking!! The space I moved to my new home quite recently. It is a lovely large quirky space which has a calm and peaceful feel. Being elevated it is light and airy. The main floor has a large L. shaped lounge, dining room, kitchen for guests use. The kitchen is shared with myself. (The upstairs floor is private where I have my own bedroom, bathroom and lounge.) There are 2 guest bedrooms and bathroom on the main floor and a huge deck. (The other Airbnb room is The BLUE ROOM - please see separate listing for details and availability.) This bedroom has a double bed and all day sun with bifold doors onto the deck! The room also has a heater and the bed has an electric blanket to keep you cosy. The bathroom may be shared with other guests. Please message me with any queries. Guest access The driveway to the house is a short incline with parking for a second car. From there you will access the house via a wooden staircase to the front door. There are ten wide steps and a handrail. On entering the front door, the open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are all on the same level. The deck is on this level too with steps going down to the garden. Guests will have access to the whole floor - bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and a large lounge with TV. Upstairs I have my own lounge, bedroom and bathroom. This is a private area. I will use the kitchen/diner but the lounge area is mainly for your own use. During your stay I'm happy to interact with guests if they wish to but am equally respectful of guests having there own space. I'm always happy to help in any way I can. Other things to note ALL GUESTS MUST RETURN TO THE HOUSE BY MIDNIGHT. THIS IS TO AVOID DISTURBING OTHER GUESTS AND NEIGHBOURS. I ask my guests to be respectful and considerate and to leave the kitchen clean after use.
