Ideal for a stay with family or friends, the Château de Prety combines the charm of the past and modern comfort, in a poetic atmosphere mixing the atmosphere of a family guest house with a shabby-chic style. Each bedroom is personalized, equipped with its own bathroom, has views of the park, with the added bonus of birds singing! The space The original roman villa from the second century has been transformed several times and finaly in 1860, in a chateau with all the style and comfort of that great century. It is situated in a wonderfull parc with hugh trees, roses and a heated swimmingpool. From the parc and the rooms in the chateau there is a view on a beautiful and authentique landscape, with hills, woods, wineyards and cattle. It is situated on a distance of 4 km. from the highway, the railwaystation and the nice town Tournus. This middle-aged town with their small streets, nice shops, little places with teracces, the 11th century abbey and so on is wellknown for the varity off good restaurants; four of them have a star of cause the dilicious food. You can also have a glass of wine at the chateau de Préty en enjoy a wonderfull evening on the terrace in the beautifull garden, thanks to the nice micro-climate. It's a place for a romantic stay. It is not far from Lyon, a must to see for a daytrip. But in the surroundings you can find little towns as Beaune, Chalon, Cluny, Cormatin, crossing the little lanes in the countrysite with a pure and quiet atmosphere and a surprising varity of views. The rooms and the bathrooms are spacious, cosy and adapted to the 19th century style of the chateau, full of charm, but there is modern comfort.
