The space This listing is for those who do not book the entire cottage, offering a private room, with ensuite bathroom. Please bring your own food and beverages to enjoy your stay! Riverside Farm Retreat is located on the banks of the Namoi River and is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Here at Riverside, you can rest, relax, and rejuvenate in this unique country location, just 6 hours from Brisbane or Sydney. The retreat is private and secure and only 7 minutes from Narrabri and 50 minutes from Gunnedah, NSW. It is also only a 40-minute drive to the base of Mount Kaputar National Park. Guests will have access to ALL SHARED FACILITIES, including two kitchens and internal and external lounge and dining areas. There is a wheelchair ramp for easy access to the cottage and plenty of parking. Telstra network is usually accessible on-farm. We also welcome pets for an additional fee of $10 per pet per night. The property features natural pastures, bushland, and abundant water, with visiting birds and wildlife, along with farm animals. Numerous secluded fishing spots are also available. It's perfect for a weekend getaway, with longer stays available upon inquiry. Once you drive down the driveway, you will enter a different world offering full security and limited access. Note: unless you book the entire cottage, other quests may also be staying, and all common areas have shared facilities. Other things to note We are a working farm. You may hear a tractor or the buggy start up as we go and feed the farm animals. We have a friendly resident dog named 'Darcy', who loves belly rubs and 'Pepper' the Emu, who loves to eat Jatz's biscuits and a hello. Fresh farm eggs are available for purchase during your stay. The best phone service is Telstra, and Wi-Fi is available if needed. There is no smoking in the rooms or upper cottage areas. We are pet friendly (extra fee).
