Crummock water is 2.7 miles away and all other western lakes are within 15-20 mins.(£10/dog/night) and secure play area. Our farm is on the mountainside.We have 28 acres of Rocks and Drops for hiking,walking,climbing and grazing our horses .It is located on The Crag allowing for uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Lorton Valley and beyond.Breakfast on the Terrace is overwhelming. At the top of our Crag the views are panoramic,to Scotland and afar .An impressive location for relaxation ,romance ,walking,lake swimming or hiking .So many of our guests say the photos don’t do it justice,but check them out for inspiration!! Enjoy our Horse Care Experience and learn all about their care,grooming,tacking up,feeding,rugging and general questions and answers session. It has double chapel doors following the main front door from the porch.The bedrooms are on different floors,one up 6 steps and the other down 5. It is solid wood floor right through with Sheepskin Rugs scattered around. Guest access You access our farm and travel up the 200m tree lined driveway.Once you have parked your car or motorbike ,we urge you to get settled in,make a pot of filter coffee and relax on The Terrace,or get your walking boots on and explore!We encourage bikers and hikers who enjoy the finer things in life ! Other things to note Our Crag is beautiful,steep in parts but a good 20 minute hike to the top!Being an ancient Norman settlement they have left Roads on the side to walk along!They are amazing!We hope you love it as much as we do.There is safe parking for bikes at The cottage and storage for canoes,kayaks and bikes etc. For those of you who are interested in horses we offer Horsecare Sessions including one to one time with our horses where you can learn about their lives and needs.I have been a hair and beauty specialist for 25 years so if you are heading to a wedding and need hair and makeup done let me know well in advance so I can book you in !!
