Acacia Cottage

Located on a hectare of farmland in Prince Albert, with privacy, peace and security, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museum. Children are welcome, making it an ideal getaway for a family, or for 2 couples travelling together. Aircon, swimming pool and braai facilities, fireplace for winter. Electricity is solar-powered and grid. Two double en-suites make it comfortable, an additional suite available [Acacia Annexe, book separately]. North facing verandah for afternoon sunsets. The space The house is fully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen which includes all cooking requirements, a large oven, gas 5 plate stove, microwave, large fridge and a choice of teas, coffees, and rusks. There is a washing machine and a cleaning and laundry service can be provided upon request for an additional charge. Solar power enables lights,plugs and wi-fi during load-shedding. The open-plan living room has a cosy wood-burning fireplace and woolen blankets are supplied for chilly winter nights. The house consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms with king size beds or twins, that can be converted on request, a bath in one and shower in the other. Bath and swimming towels are provided. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning, fans and mosquito nets for summer, heaters, electric blankets and mohair throws for winter. The verandah provides for al fresco eating overlooking the fields. A large and small portable braai are supplied with a “braai basket” with braai equipment! Take a dip in the 11mx4m swimming pool with shaded area and chairs. Swimming towels provided. The fields are great for birdwatching and the vegetable patch and orchard has seasonal fruit. Other things to note Please note the holiday home is NOT pet-friendly as we have so many of our own! Please note there is no TV . Wifi in cottage. We are 100% at home so there for any queries or emergencies.
