Calheta Lofts II

The best place in Madeira to enjoy the sea and the sun, at a distance of three minutes walking you are at Calheta Beach. The appartment is ideal for couples with children, it is real safe, we have a parking área, a small balcony. The space Calheta Loft is an open plan apartment with a well equipped kitchenette, comfortable living/dining area and bathroom. On the ground floor are twin beds with a curtain that separates them from the living area. Above is a mezanine, also with twin beds and a sofa bed that can accomodate a 5th person. There is a small terrace with table and chairs for the Loft apartment. There is no passing traffic, so it is quite private This apartment is particularly well suited to families. There are lots of apartments in Calheta but not many that are only 50 metres from the beach, so the location is ideal. The loft is the perfect base for a holiday in Madeira. The loft is very well located and although a hire car is always useful for sightseeing, it is not essential if you are happy to spend your days lazing by the sea or sunning yourself on the beach. The loft is located under the house . It is situated in a calm street with no cars passing because is a dead-end-street. You can sit and relax in the varand without being disturbed by noise or traffic. It is quite near the beach you only have to go down a few steps, cross the street and you are on the beach. The two bedrooms are in Mezzanine flat, with four single beds, fully -equipped kitchenette and bathroom. TV, microwave oven, electric stove, refrigerator, electrical kettle, coffee machine and toaster. We will offer our hospitality and help in everything you need during your stay. We wish our guests to feel at home. You will find a nice place, very comfortable and quiet. Calheta, the sea side village, enjoys the very best of all year climates and has recently been improved with yellow sandy beaches and a marina. The sea temperature aided by the Gulf Stream permits sea swimming throughout the year. A variety of watersports can be enjoyed together with big game and sea fishing plus whale/ dolphin watching. The village has a supermarket, 4* hotel and good selection of restaurants and coffee bars all within a short walk. There is a Sugar Cane Factory which as a working museum transforms the harvest into Rum ( Aguardente ) and other products including the famous Bolo do Mel ,Honey Cake. Walkers can go inland to enjoy the mountains and levada walks through the Natural Park . The levada system provides walkers with over 2000 km of accessible mountain walks through spectacular countryside. Guest access They have access to the appartment and to the car parking. Other things to note I'm always available to provide anything you need Calheta is a quite place, well located and near the sea. Since October you will have to pay the touristc tax.
